Music is our passion

Finger Eleven
with Sick Puppies, Pride Tiger, and Soma City

Everything about this night was a success. We arrived at the venue early to help the street team setup with posters and stickers. As we were hanging up the Sick Puppies posters, Shimon Moore walked by, said 'hello', and thanked us for street teaming. My assistant was very excited and he shook her hand. It was a lot of fun.
Local band Soma City opened the show. Their performance was very strong, and set the stage for a night of great music. We also got to meet them, and they seemed like a bunch of nice guys.
Next up was Pride Tiger from Canada. Their music has a groove oriented classic rock vibe, and they have a very energetic set. We interviewed the guitar player, Bobby, and took some great photos of their set.
The Sick Puppies' performance was spectacular as usual. The band came out after their set and talked to fans. A female fan came up to Emma Anzai while they were signing autographs and gave her some bracelets. I asked the girl about it, and she told me that her grandmother had made them and given them to her. She said that they meant a lot to her, and that Emma also meant a lot to her, so she gave the bracelets to her. It was so sweet, and very thoughtful. Afterward we took some promo shots and interviewed the band in their tour bus.
Finger Eleven was very good. The last time we saw them was when they were opening for Evanescence. It was a much different and cooler experience seeing them in a smaller venue. The atmosphere at the club was cool, from the security to the crowd, everyone was having a good time.
Usually taking photos at this venue is difficult, but tonight everything seemed like a truly cool underground rock event... a lot different than normal. All four bands were awesome, and hung out in club throughout the show. No attitudes... no egos.
