Recently HURT announced in a MySpace bulletin that their search for a new bass player was nearly complete. "We've remained a bit quiet in the prior weeks preferring to concentrate on the search for a "bass player" who gels with us. We think we may have the found the right guy."

Though there has not been an official announcement yet, the word on the grapevine is that the new bass player is in fact Rek Mohr from HURT's recent tour-mates LEO. "Rather than inject any hype about how great we think he is, we'll let the shows and the music do the talking for us. We look forward to hitting the road with our new bass player and raising the bar on our live performances."
